We're looking for a Backend Developer to help shape our user experience, go-to-market, and company culture. Our ideal teammate is one who enjoys company building as much as they enjoy their craft.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with current trends and best practices in backend service design, performance, security and observability.
• Design and build highly available, resilient, and performant production systems that power financial services for a large number of end-users. Security will be at the forefront of how you design and operate these systems.
• Setup and manage CI/CD pipelines and other developer tooling
• Write fully tested, high quality and performant code on both backend and frontend.
• Building and operating cloud services on AWS.
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs, ideally with bank partners, crypto infrastructure companies and money movers.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

About You

• Strong coding skills in any language. Experience with Typescript and Nodejs is nice to have but we believe languages can be learned and are far more interested in your general engineering abilities and ambition.
• A passion for financial inclusion and building products that increase access to financial freedom for everyone.
• Ability to communicate complicated technical problems to both technical and business audiences
• Have experience with cryptocurrencies and/or Web3 technologies; whether through work experience or personal projects.
• Interested in contributing to open-source projects, writing about your work, and participating in speaking events
